Rosso Arcaico by Andrea Occhipinti is a wine obtained from a blend of red grapes that grapes come from vineyards of an average age of 20 years planted on volcanic soils. Rosso Arcaico - Andrea Occhipinti
Rosso Arcaico is obtained from a blend of red grapes that come from 20-year-old vineyards planted on volcanic soils. Harvesting is manual, while the fermentation takes place spontaneously in small concrete barrels with maceration on the skins of 20 days. Aging 6 months in terracotta amphora and 2 months in bottle. Rosso Arcaico has ruby red color. Nose smells of fruit, especially apricot, spicy smells and notes of incense. In the mouth it is enveloping, with body, with soft tannins and a long lasting menthol. Production of only 3000 bottles.
Service
It is recommended to taste it at a temperature of 16/18 ° in tulip goblets. Daily wine but left to rest in the cellar a few years can have a wonderful evolution.

The company Andrea Occhipinti is located in Gradoli, on the shores of Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe.
