The grapes, a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, and Petit Meslier, were harvested in the generous 2022 harvest. Patchwork is a blend of Chardonnay from numerous small parcels, harvested by hand. The process takes place with whole bunches, followed by partial fermentation in steel and wood for about 9 months, with subsequent maturation in small woods. Malolactic, carried out to soften the powerful acidity, helps create a complex profile. It is an unfiltered and unclarified wine, which presents notes of citrus such as grapefruit on the attack, followed by hints of pastry and buttery due to aging in wood, giving a denser texture. The balance between the freshness of the citrus and the richness of the pastry makes it versatile: excellent both as an aperitif, even with oysters, and paired with white meats such as chicken.

Les Terres Jaunes by Aurélien Lemaire is undoubtedly a Champagne that represents a meeting between art and winemaking passion. With only 2,304 bottles produced, this wine stands out for its authenticity and the winemaker's rigorous and uncompromising production philosophy.
