Savagnin - Domaine de la Renardière
The Savagnin of Domaine de la Renardiere is obtained with the vine of the same name, typical of the Jura. The grapes that come from vineyards have an average age of 50-60 years and are grown on blue marl. The vinification takes place in the classic Jura style, with a spontaneous fermentation of the grapes, and aging in used barriques and kept full for two years and six months to allow a slight oxidation. It was bottled in September 2021, and is obtained from an assembly of different vintages, specifically: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. The nose is rich and complex, with hints reminiscent of dried fruit, spices and the undergrowth. On the palate it is full-bodied, enveloping, with good freshness and excellent persistence.
