Intriguing nose with mineral notes, citrus nuances, aromas of dried fruit and acacia honey. On the palate it is enveloping, full-bodied, soft , with a good freshness and long persistence.

Ribolla Gialla - Franco Terpin 

Ribolla Gialla in purity, fermentation is spontaneous with only indigenous yeasts and refined in oak barrels. Unfiltered before bottling. Ribolla Gialla by Terpin has a golden color. Intriguing nose with mineral notes, citrus nuances, aromas of dried fruit and acacia honey. The palate is enveloping, full-bodied, soft, with a good freshness and long persistence.

Service

We recommend tasting it at a temperature of 12/14 ° in tulip glasses. Wine to drink immediately but if left in the cellar a few years can give great emotions.

Pairing

Great to combine with pasta dishes with fish, to try with a risotto with cheese.

Cellar: Franco Terpin

The Franco Terpin company is located in San Floriano del Collio, Friuli Venezia Giulia, a few steps from the Slovenian border, in the area famous for the production of Orange wine. Franco creates the company, together with his wife, in 1994 and now has about 10 hectares of vines located in a hilly area, part of Italy and part of Slovenia. All the vineyards stand on rich soils of clay and are reared according to organic practices, the cultivated varieties are Ribolla Gialla, Tocai Friulano, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. In the cellar it does not use chemicals, but only indigenous yeasts, barrel refinements and no filtration. Its wines are all macerated for a time ranging from 3 to 8 days, aged for 3 years in wooden barrels and then steel before being sold. Only 20000 bottles produced, of these unique wines, are the soul of the land and decided as the one who produces them
