Service
We taste it at a temperature of 8/10 ° in a tulip glass. Wine to drink immediately but can give fantastic emotions if stored for a few years.
Pairing
To combine with a risotto with porcini mushrooms, some sushi, to try with a tuna tuna with sesame and soy sauce.
Cellar: Domaine Milan
The Domaine Milan is located in the mountainous area of Provence, à Saint-Rèmy de Provence. It was purchased in 1956 by Robert Milan and, in 1986, it passed in succession to his son Henri. Today the Domaine owns 17 hectares of vineyards which are found on marly soils rich in calcareous debris, and which enjoy an excellent climatic situation. the vineyards are planted with Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc and Granache Noir, Sirah, Mourvedre and other typical vines. In 1996, Henry meets two characters who will revolutionize his business: Claude Bourguignon, an expert agronomist and Claude Courtois, a well-known and important vigneron. It is these two figures who convince Henry to embrace a more naturalistic ideology of wine production. Subsequently, Henry voluntarily quits the A.O.C. Baux-de-Provence, producing rigorously biodynamic wines. The wines produced by Henry are original and complex, guided by a great harmony: Clos Milan”, “Le Grand Blanc”, “Le Papillon Blanc”, “Le Papillon Rouge”, “Le Vallon”, “Le Jardin” and “Le Carree”, are all fantastic wines, sons of a great vigneron.
