EHey! by Amos Baneres is a white wine obtained from a blend of Macabeo and Xarel-lo. In the cellar the Macabeo is pressed directly while the Xarel-lo is destemmed and macerated for 10 days on the skins. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in steel with indigenous yeasts and subsequently the wine ages for 12 months with the Xarel-lo in wooden barrels and the Macabeo in steel. A wine that offers fruity hints of peach, citrus aromas and notes of anise, and does not lack lightness and freshness.

After a first life as a pharmacist near Barcelona, Amós Bañeres returns home to Penedès and takes over the management of the family winery: 5.5 hectares, where many of the region's indigenous varieties are present. Right from the start, the choice was made to run the vineyards organically, each year moving the bar a little further. Even in the cellar, Amós immediately embraced the ideas of minimal intervention, of keeping and accompanying the grapes on their transformation path into wine. The vinification and aging take place, depending on the wine, in used barrels or amphorae in the cellar adjacent to the family home.ia.
