Something curious and in some ways fascinating is happening in the Soave area. Almost every year a new production reality comes out, generally small companies that have very few hectares of vineyards and produce a very small number of bottles look with interest towards the boundaries of sustainability and nature. One of these is the Cantina Martinelli which is located in Fitta Soave, in the province of Verona, in the Classic area of Soave. One and a half hectares of Garganega vineyards with an average age of 50 years, which was bought twenty-five years ago by Dario Martinelli, and that now that he has retired he thought it was time to start making wine. So helped by his son Francesco Martinelli, by the agronomist Antonio Zappoli and by the vignerons Stefano Menti, he threw himself into this new adventure. The first vintage in the bottle was 2017.
