Jean-Marie is originally from Savoy, but a career in advertising led him to Paris where he worked for several years. In 1999, driven by his strong passion for wine, he decided to quit his job and obtain a degree in oenology at the University of Beaune .. After graduating, he started working for other winemakers and is lucky enough to be able to acquire one and a half hectares of old Chardonnay vines in and around Meursault. Influenced by his uncle, organic farmer and other winemakers whom he met during his journey, Jean-Marie decides to produce his wines naturally. The vines are grown biodynamically and the grapes are harvested by hand. In the cellar only indigenous yeasts are used, with a minimum of SO2 at the time of bottling. Since its inception in 2004 it has produced wines with great character. His first cuvée, Le Petit Têtu, which translates into a small stubborn, characteristic that most represents Jean-Marie, and in fact, you must be a stubborn boy to abandon a thriving career in advertising in Paris to go and isolate yourself on the coasts of Burgundy to make wine without compromise. The result is an intensely vibrant and invigorating wine, with a mineral frame that completes delicious lemon notes. A noble wine without artifice! and intensity of this wonderful territory.nt company - hence the different name!
