Toranja - Tutti Frutti Ananas
Toranja is a white French wine made from Grenache Gris grapes. The name vuoldire grapefruit in Portuguese, and in fact when we drink it we immediately understand why. The grapes come from forty-year-old vines planted on schists near the sea in Collioure and grown organically. It is spontaneously vinified with only indigenous yeasts and aged in cement tanks. Cellar: Tutti Frutti Ananas
Tutti Frutti Ananas is a winery located in Banyuls sur Mer, commune located in the department of the Eastern Pyrenees in the Occitania region. The winery, original from the name, was born from the meeting of three winemakers; Joaquim Roque Spanish winemaker of Domaine Carterole who takes care of the vines, Manuel Vecchi Florentine winemaker of Vinyer de la Ruca who takes care of winemaking and Zé, Josè Carvalho, at the registry office of La Cave des Nomades, Portuguese musician who commercial part. Their vineyards in Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, Vermentino, Granache Blanc and Macabeu are located on a river bed. In the cellar, vinification takes place with spontaneous fermentation in cement and stainless steel tanks, without the use of oenological additives.
