Raiz "is a Portuguese white wine that comes from 100% Loureiro grapes that come from vineyards planted on granite soils near the Atlantic Ocean in the Vinho Verde region. The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September, they are not destemmed, so they spend three days of maceration followed by spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeasts in cement vats The wine is aged on the lees for 10 months in the same vats Unfiltered. The Raiz has a straw-yellow color, with salty notes and hints of white-fleshed fruit, like the green apple, the taste is fresh, juicy, with a lively salinity.

Service

We recommend tasting the "Raiz" at a temperature of 8/10 ° in tulip glasses. Wine to be drunk immediately but left in the cellar for a few years can give great emotions.

The Tiago Teles winery is located in the area of ​​S.
