White wine from the Sierra Nevada, where the grapes of Macabeo, Chardonnay, Viogner and Sauvignon, used to make it grow on a soil composed mainly of sandstone and stone, and enjoy a microclimate unique in the world, where the daily alternation of cold and of the heat they help the grapes to mature in a balanced way. Bodega Cauzon is located in Graena, a small Spanish town located in the vicinity of Granada. Behind Bodega Cauzon we find Ramon Saavedra, a former chef, who in 1998 decided to abandon his profession to start producing wine according to a philosophy that followed respect for nature and the land. 5 hectares of vineyards that are located at 1200 meters above sea level behind the Sierra Nevada, on a soil composed mainly of sandstone and stone, and enjoy a microclimate unique in the world, where the daily alternation of cold and heat help the grapes to mature in a balanced way. For white wines are grown grapes of Torrontes, Sauvignon blanc, Chardonay, Viognay while, for the reds we find a Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Sirah and Graciano. The production is very small, around 10,000 bottles a year, but every detail is taken care of and the result is unique, rich, elegant and surprising wines.
