Cellar: Paltrinieri
The Paltrinieri company is located in the heart of Sorbara, in the center of the green and fertile province of Modena. The family-run cellar was founded in 1926 by Achille, the grandfather of the current owner Alberto. Achilles was an esteemed pharmaceutical chemist who perceived the potentials of Lambrusco's Sorbara grape and built the first part of the cellar that was then expanded by his son Gianfranco. Today is carried on with intelligence and mastery by Alberto, assisted by his wife Barbara and her children. There are 15 hectares of vineyards, located in the historic area of the Christ of Sorbara. The grapes come from vineyards and are carefully selected before vinification, winemaking with modern techniques but with an eye to the Sorbian tradition. Not only production of sparkling Lambrusco that touches the highest quality summit with Eclissi but also classic sparkling method, refermentations in bottles of Sorbara lambrusco vinification in white. Alberto's mission is to make people feel good, and his wine is born exactly like this, to be a touch for the heart and throat.
