Ideal to accompany salami appetizers, first courses, excellent with a duck breast.
Winery: Sarnin-Berrux
The Domaine Sarnin-Berrux is located in Monthe´lie in the Cote de Beaune. It was born in 2007 thanks to Jean Pascal Sarnin, who after a successful career in the world of finance, decides to leave Paris and move close to his family in Saint-Romain, and Jean Marie Berrux who has already started his career in the world of wine. in 1999, gaining experience both in the vineyard and in the cellar with some vignerons in the area. Their project is to focus on sustainable development and respect for the environment, striving to produce high quality, natural and vibrant wines from grapes they purchase from organic winemakers. Their wines are produced in the traditional way respecting the grapes as much as possible, both in the vineyard and in vinification, not using any chemical product (except for the addition of a small dose of sulphites before bottling). The same philosophy applies during the aging process, which is done in old pièces. Their wines are alive, fresh and representative of the different terroirs chosen.
