Alveda - Azienda Agricola Baccagnano
Alveda represents the most intense and structured expression of Albana from Azienda Agricola Baccagnano, crafted according to the winemaking protocol of the Brisighella Winegrowers' Association. Spontaneous fermentation initiates an aging process designed to enhance depth and balance: nine months in small oak barriques, followed by eighteen months of bottle maturation. Time thus becomes a fundamental ingredient, shaping a wine of great precision in which the varietal richness of Albana merges with a subtle, perfectly integrated use of oak. In the glass, it displays an intense golden-yellow hue. The bouquet is expansive and refined, offering notes of ripe fruit, delicate toasted nuances, dried flowers, and spicy undertones. On the palate, it is full-bodied, enveloping, and dynamic, supported by an elegant structure and a long, lingering finish that accompanies every sip. An Albana with real character, capable of combining body, elegance, and depth—possessing the presence and complexity of a great red wine—while never losing its identity as a white.
Service
It is advisable to serve it at a temperature of 8/10° in tulip goblets.
Pairing
It pairs well with roasted white meats, rabbit, mushrooms, truffles, and aged cheeses. Yet it also stands beautifully on its own—like certain wines that call for a bit of attention and silenceg.
