Spumante Brut Millesimato “Brut Contadino”  - Ciro Picariello

The Ciro Picariello "Brut Contadino" Sparkling Wine is produced with white grapes which are harvested slightly in advance to preserve the crunchy fruit and maintain its pleasant acidity. The grapes, after harvesting, spontaneously ferment in stainless steel tanks. The must, partially fermented, is cold decanted and then bottled. The refermentation takes place, following the production principles of the Classic Method, in the bottle, where the wine remains to refine in contact with its yeasts for 24 months. The Brut Contadino is straw yellow in color with a thin perlgae. On the nose aromas of yellow pulp fruits, mineral notes and bread crust. On the palate it is intoxicating with a pronounced acid and savory vein.

Service

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 8/10 ° in balloon flute.

Pairing

Great for all meals especially as an aperitif, appetizers and second courses of fish, salty pies, to try with a seafood risotto.

The cellar: Ciro Picariello

Ciro Picariello's company is located in Summonte, in the province of Avellino, in a few years it has become a proven reality in the Campania wine landscape. Ciro, with the help of his wife Rita Guerriero, since 2004, cultivated seven hectares of vineyards, five of which were raised to Fiano and the rest with Aglianico, Sciascinoso and Piedirosso. All the vineyards are on the hillside, on volcanic soil, and enjoy a fresh and ventilated climate that allows you to give you fragrant wines. The philosophy of production is very simple, no chemical in the vineyard and few interventions in the cellar where Ciro affinates all its steel wines. Wines are put on the market after at least a year after the harvest so that they will appreciate the best qualities right away. Known as one of the vineyards that has changed the image of Fiano, Its wines are fine, sleek, rich in personality and mirror in the area where they are born.
