Corza Beoda 2025 - Jade Gross
Corza Beoda by Jade Gross is an exceptional single-variety Tempranillo from the Rioja DOCa, produced in a very limited edition of just 1,890 numbered bottles. Made from the high-altitude "La Cantera" parcel in Labastida (36-year-old bush-trained vines on limestone-arenaceous soils), this artisanal red breaks traditional Spanish molds. For the 2025 vintage, former Michelin-starred chef Jade Gross chose manual harvesting, whole-bunch vinification in open vats, and aging exclusively in stainless steel. The result is a fresh, vibrant, and juicy wine, dominated by crisp notes of red berries, violets, and a crisp minerality. An exclusive collector's item that enhances the purity of the terroir without the use of oak.

Corza Beoda - Jade Gross
Corza Beoda is the extraordinary interpretation of pure Tempranillo by Jade Gross, one of the most talented and revolutionary producers in the Rioja DOCa. Following the success of her first labels, Jade Gross returns to amaze with this artisanal project, produced in a very limited edition of just 1,890 numbered bottles, a true gem for collectors and lovers of fine wines. The wine comes from the prestigious Rioja Alavesa subzone, specifically from the estate's "La Cantera" parcel in Labastida, where 36-year-old bush-trained vines sink their roots into the limestone-arenaceous soils at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level. This cool microclimate and unique soil give the wine a vibrant freshness and a structure of rare elegance. Jade Gross applies the same rigor in the cellar that led her to become head chef at a three-Michelin-starred restaurant: for the 2025 vintage, the grapes harvested by hand on September 27th were vinified whole-bunch in open vats and aged exclusively in stainless steel, unlike the previous year's 12-month barrel aging. The result in the glass is an explosion of fragrant primary fruit, with notes of cherry, raspberry, violet, and a subtle minerality; on the palate, it is dynamic and lively, with fine tannins and a beautiful acidity that extends the sip toward a clean and persistent finish. Choosing the Corza Beoda 2025 means discovering a contemporary style that enhances the purity of the grape variety without the invasive use of oak.
Service
We taste it at a temperature of 16/18° in tulip glasses. A wine to be drunk immediately but will express its best in a few years.
Pairing
Excellent wine to pair with pasta dishes and meat sauces, elaborate meat main courses, to try with a dish of stew with peas.
Winery: Jade Gross
Jade Gross, one of the most visionary and talented producers on the contemporary Spanish wine scene. Born in Hong Kong in 1987, Jade lived an extraordinary life before committing her destiny to the land: after studying political science in New York, she graduated from the prestigious ESCF culinary school in Paris and faced the strenuous apprenticeship of the global restaurant scene, working for seven years as head chef at the legendary three-Michelin-star Mugaritz restaurant in San Sebastian. It was here that her encounter with renowned winemakers Abel Mendoza and Maite Fernandez changed her life, instilling in her a visceral passion for the vineyard. Determined to redefine her future, she flew to London to earn the prestigious WSET Level 4 Diploma and, soon after, chose Rioja to launch her independent project. In 2018, she settled in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, a small village where she overcame the local winemakers' initial skepticism thanks to her crystalline talent and the support of Mendoza himself, integrating seamlessly into the community. Jade Gross' wines are the result of this incredible journey: a very limited artisanal production that combines the rigor of avant-garde cuisine with the poetry of the land. Her portfolio includes "Piano, Piano," a Rioja Tempranillo created in 2019 and aged for two years; the name and label celebrate the philosophy of patience and her love of the piano, cultivated since childhood, resulting in a vibrant, elegant, and profound red. Alongside it is "Chiguita," an excellent white wine created in 2020 from a vineyard in the renowned San Ginés area of Labastida; The term, an affectionate variant of chiquita ("little girl"), is the nickname given to it by the village's old winemakers and describes a fresh, savory white wine with great character. Choosing a bottle of Jade Gross means bringing a story of courage to your glass, a collector's item that blends Asian sensibility, French technique, and Spanish warmth.
