Winery: L 'Acino
The L’Acino winery is located in on the Piana di Sibari, between the Ionian and the Tyrrhenian, between the Pollino and the Sila, areas where there is a small vineyard for self-consumption next to each house. L'Acino was born in 2006 from an idea by Dino Briglio who decides to produce wine in a hard, harsh and difficult land, but also as generous as Calabria can be. They immediately decided to focus on biodynamic viticulture that respected nature, the earth and restored dignity to a territory. 8 hectares are cultivated mainly with ancient Calabrian autochthonous vines; Mantonico, Guarnaccia Bianca and Greco the other grape variety grown is Magliocco. Territorial wines, where the roots sink into the earth and absorb the history and uniqueness of this land enriching the wines with contrast.
