"Don Carlino" - De Fermo
The "Don Carlino" by De Fermo is a fresh and juicy white wine that comes from 100% Pecorino grapes. "Don Carlino" was the uncle of the mother of Stefano Papetti Ceroni, lawyer and professional politician, who had an inordinate love for viticulture and French wine. The grapes come from vineyards bred according to the dictates of biodynamic agriculture, which are found on clay-limestone soils. In the cellar the winemaking processes are of absolute craftsmanship, with spontaneous fermentation in cement tanks, no temperature control, aging on the fine lees for 12 months between tonneau, large barrel and cement tanks. No clarification or filtration. The "Don Carlino" has an intense straw yellow color. The nose expresses hints of ripe yellow fruit, such as peaches and bananas, followed by herbaceous notes of sage and mint and light spicy scents.
