SALE NATURAL WINES

A natural wine is produced by the work of an independent vintner who cultivates its vineyards, with the aim of producing wines that are as close as possible to the mirror of the territory and culture from which they come, respectful of the cycles of nature. In the vine they try to completely exclude insecticides, herbicides, additives and any chemicals using only copper and zinc when needed. In the cellar the interventions are minimized so as not to frustrate all the work that has been done in the vineyard. Fermentations are spontaneous with only native yeasts without adding sugars or concentrated musts and without acidity adjustments or addition of other additives. In most cases no filtration or clarification is carried out before bottling. Many natural wines do not contain sulphites, but we can also consider wines that do not exceed 30 mg per liter. Choosing to add a small amount of sopfiti depends on the season's performance and refinement in the cellar. Trebbiano d'Abruzzo by  Pepe is a white wine of remarkable expressiveness and charisma that ages in cement tanks. The nose gives floral, fruity and mineral notes. On the palate it is dry, savory with a nice acidity and closes with a long finish. Trebbiano is an elegant and austere grape variety that needs time to achieve balance.

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo by Emidio Pepe is a red wine obtained from the homonymous grapes from vineyards located on clayey soils worked with biodynamic methods. Spontaneous fermentation in 22 and 30 hl vitrified concrete tanks without pumping over and aging on the fine lees in vitrified concrete tanks for 2 years. Hand-bottled without filtration, bottle aging. Before being put on the market, it is decanted by hand from bottle to bottle. Intense ruby ​​red color. Intense hints of red fruit and spices. On the palate it is structured and robust, elegant with pleasant tannins and a long persistence of spices and fruit.
