Je T'ai Dans La Peau – Laurent Lebled
An artisanal wine with a distinct identity, crafted from 100% Pineau, an ancient, indigenous grape variety from the Loire, that expresses its terroir with character and authenticity. Fermentation, involving carbonic maceration and skin contact in concrete vats for approximately 12 days, imparts depth and complexity to the wine while preserving its natural expressiveness. Unfiltered, it reveals an intriguing bouquet of oxidized apple, citrus, and lemon zest, complemented by lingering smoky, spicy, and floral notes. On the palate, it is dynamic and vibrant, featuring lively acidity, a balanced tannic structure, and a mineral finish that highlights its freshness and personality. This is an unconventional, authentic wine, rich in nuance, deal for those who appreciate the most genuine and surprising expressions of natural wine..
Service
It is recommended to taste it at a temperature of 8/10° in a tulip glass. Wine to be drunk immediately but will express its best in a few years.
Pairings
Suitable for the entire meal; excellent with seafood dishes.
Cellar: Laurent Lebled
A former wood merchant, today Laurent Lebled cultivates just over three hectares between Savigny-en-Véron and Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher in the Loire. His decision to become a winemaker took place in 2008, when the timber market collapsed due to the crisis. As he worked with untreated wood, he had many clients who were vintners of natural wines such as: Olivier Cousin, Patrick Corbineau, Sébastien Bobinet. Helped by them, he begins to produce his own wine, and the first vintage comes out in 2010. Today he cultivates Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon and Gamay in compliance with sustainable viticulture, with strictly manual harvesting, and without the aid of chemicals. In the cellar he vinifies his wines mainly in carbonic maceration, with spontaneous fermentations and refinements mainly in steel. The result is lively, genuine wines that express the full personality of the territory.
