Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore DOC Titillo - Colle Jano
Titillo is the vibrant and bold soul of Colle Jano, a Verdicchio that lives up to its name: from the Latin titillare, meaning "to titillate," it was created to tease, provoke, and awaken the senses, firmly escaping all banality. Produced in the heart of the Marche region from a single hectare of young vines (planted in 2018 with a mass selection of the historic "Jano" vines), this wine is the result of certified organic and biodynamic viticulture that deeply respects the balance of nature. The terroir plays a key role: at 170 meters above sea level, the roots sink into a sandy loam soil rich in calcareous marl, giving the wine a mineral tension and an extraordinary savory character. Manual harvesting at dawn and the separate vinification of each parcel guarantee the complete integrity of the fruit. In the cellar, the process is a celebration of craftsmanship: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and 10-month aging in stainless steel, punctuated by intense battonage (stirring), which gives the palate a velvety, complex structure and remarkable persistence. Why try it: Titillo is an immediate yet profound wine, striking for its citrus freshness and hints of almond typical of the grape variety, enhanced by impeccably clean execution. It's the perfect companion for those seeking a white wine with character, capable of tantalizing the palate from an aperitif to complex seafood or white meat dishes. Authentic, vertical, and provocative: a Verdicchio you won't forget.

Cantina: Colle Jano
Colle Jano Farm Estate is located in Cupramontana, in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi area in Le Marche, Italy, surrounded by the historic villages of Monte Roberto, Castelbellino, San Paolo di Jesi and Staffolo. Founded in 2016, Colle Jano is a family-run farm dedicated to the production of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi wine, extra virgin olive oil, honey and sustainable agricultural products. The estate extends across 7 hectares cultivated according to sustainable and conservation agriculture principles. Our historic Verdicchio vineyards are carefully restored and preserved through farming practices that respect the land, biodiversity and the natural fertility of the soil. One of Colle Jano’s distinctive features is the presence of ancient own-rooted vines (“piede franco”), preserved through the traditional layering propagation technique. This rare viticultural heritage represents an important asset within the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC landscape. Our winemaking philosophy is artisanal and small-scale: hand-harvested grapes, spontaneous fermentation, aging on fine lees and minimal use of sulfites. Every bottle is crafted to authentically express the Marche terroir and the true identity of Verdicchio. In addition to wine production, Colle Jano cultivates olive trees, vegetables and aromatic herbs, while also raising bees and small farm animals, promoting a self-sufficient and sustainable rural lifestyle. We welcome visitors and wine lovers for Verdicchio wine tastings, vineyard experiences and authentic moments dedicated to discovering the agricultural excellence of Le Marche.
