Tenuta Selvadolce is located in one of the most panoramic areas of the Bordighera hills, overlooking the sea of ​​the extreme west of Liguria a few kilometers from the border with France. Here the warm sun of the Riviera is mitigated by a constant sea breeze that sometimes gives way to the impetuous Maestra wind. 7 hectares of vineyards planted in Vermentino, Pigato, Rossese and Granaccia, are surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, dry stone walls and Bougainvillea. The dog is led by Aris Bancardi, with a veterinary degree in his pocket and a past as a teetotaler, who after finishing his viticulture and horticulture studies, decides to return home with one certainty, that Selvadolce would become a biodynamic farm. The turning point came in 2004 when it started its transformation, aiming for responsible, strictly sustainable agriculture, refusing the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
