Producer Cantina Antonioli
UMBRIA
Established in 2018 in the hills of Gubbio, Cantina Antonioli was born from Giulia and Giorgio’s dream to change their lives and dedicate themselves to the land, the vines, and winemaking. By restoring an old farmhouse and several small vineyard plots, they have breathed new life into the region's winemaking tradition. The winery cultivates 18 small vineyard plots—including ancient vines over 120 years old—that are now central to a project aimed at showcasing indigenous grape varieties. The vineyards are managed according to organic and biodynamic principles, with a strong focus on biodiversity and minimal intervention. In the cellar, grapes are selected by hand, and fermentation occurs spontaneously using indigenous yeasts. No fining, filtration, or stabilization processes are used, ensuring the wines’ natural identity is preserved. Each bottle thus reflects the authentic character of Umbria: wines that are alive, expressive, and deeply connected to the land, showcasing the aromatic richness, fruit qualities, and balance of its grape varieties.
