The Greco di Tufo Miniere is a white wine obtained from the grapes of the same name from a vineyard located on a clayey-calcareous soil close to the vent holes of the ancient sulfur mines. Aging in steel for 3-4 months and in bottle for 2-3 months. The nose expresses a disproportionate mineral tension and hints of white-fleshed fruit. In the mouth it is vertical, with the freshness and flavor to dictate the speed of drinking, very satisfying, and the alcohol in balance with the acidity. Grapes that come from the Vigna del Pozzo, a 1998 plant, in the high Apennine ridge at 400 meters above sea level, on soils rich in marl and limestone. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with only indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks for about 30 days, without temperature control. Aging from 12 to 24 months (depending on the vintage) in concrete tanks, then in the bottle, without filtration.
