CAMPANIA

Cantine dell'Angelo is located in the district of Campanaro, at a height of between 300 and 350 meters s.l.m. The cellars are run by the Mute family, of which Angelo is the third generation. Angelo decided to win the grapes that were previously sold to the cooperative. An organic agriculture, attentive to the soil and nature applied to the vineyard parcels that Angelo manages; 5 hectares in the Campanaro district, and one hectare in Torre Favale, situated on clay-calcareous terrain, characterized by the presence of sulfur from the old mines placed in the subsoil. Angelo wines are traditionally vinified in order to enhance Greek salt and minerals components.

The Greco di Tufo Miniere is a white wine obtained from the grapes of the same name from a vineyard located on a clayey-calcareous soil close to the vent holes of the ancient sulfur mines. Aging in steel for 3-4 months and in bottle for 2-3 months. The nose expresses a disproportionate mineral tension and hints of white-fleshed fruit. In the mouth it is vertical, with the freshness and flavor to dictate the speed of drinking, very satisfying, and the alcohol in balance with the acidity. A white of extreme power but not muscular, full expression of the grape.

Region: Campania.
