The Riesling by Domaine Kumpf et Meyer is made from Riesling grapes from vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils with a yield of around 45 hl / ha. The fermentation is spontaneous in 400 hectolitre barrels and the subsequent aging lasts about 24 months in the steel. Kumpf et Meyer's Riesling has a straw yellow color. The nose has captivating aromas of white flowers and yellow fruit, with light iodine notes. On the palate it is fresh and distinguished by its salinity. Domaine Kumpf et Meyer is located near Rosheim, along the famous Alsatian wine road.
