Pairing
Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with fish dishes and fresh cheeses, to try with rofie al pesto.
Cellar: Sequerciani
Sequerciani is a large estate located in Gavorrano, a small town located on the hills of the Grosseto Maremma. It was created by the film director and producer Ruedi Gerber starting from the Villa, a main building and heart of the estate that dominates the wonderful Tuscan countryside up to the sea, surrounded by one hundred hectares of vineyards, olive groves and woods, all cultivated following biodynamic principles . The vineyards are located approximately 200 meters above sea level and occupy a total area of 8 hectares, and among the rows we find native Tuscan vines such as Vermentino, Sangiovese and Cilieliolo. In the cellar we let time take its course and the wine expresses itself, like a message in the bottle, speaking about itself and its territory, and the refinements take place in terracotta jars and barriques used to enhance the flavors of biodynamic grapes. Sequerciani wines are strongly linked to the territory, and richness, complexity and authenticity are the characteristics of a virtuous production of a high quality level.
