Winery: Andrea Scovero
Andrea Scovero's company is located in Bionzo, a small village in Costigliole d'Asti, nestled in the Asti hills. Andrea is the third generation of a family of winemakers and the last of a generation of obstinate people who have chosen quality and respect for those who drink and for nature. Andrea's story is the story of research, accuracy and a certain obsession with quality; as he says, the reason is simple, the wine he produces is the wine he drinks himself. It cultivates about 6 hectares of vines planted with barbera, nebbiolo, dolcetto and white sauvignon. In the vineyard very little copper is used in favor of natural substances based on sulfur, propolis and algae extracts. In the cellar, fermentation takes place spontaneously, without the addition of oenological additives, and the wines produced are the result of the synergy between nature and the expert hand of man. Its wines have a peasant consistency, lively, true, with the colors of spring, intense, refined, delicate and robust flavors.
