The Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva by Praesidium is a powerful and structured red wine made from 100% Montepulciano grapes, from old naturally grown vines. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts only and aging for two years in steel, two years in oak barrels and six months in bottle. On the palate it is enveloping, warm, with tannins amalgamated in the mass and an excellent persistence. A great Montepulciano from Abruzzo.

The Rosso Versante Nord is a wine obtained from a blend consisting mainly of Nerello Mascalese, and the remainder from Nerello Capuccio, Alicante and Grenache. The Taurasi di Perillo is a red wine obtained from pure Aglianico grapes. The Cocciapazza Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from Torre dei Beati and a balanced wine that fully reflects the territory of Loreto Aprutino. It comes from grapes of Montepulciano that come from 40 year old vines located at the foot of the Gran Sasso on clayey-limestone soils. It has a very intense and dense ruby red color, with purple reflections in youth. The characteristic red Montepulciano fruit, particularly broad and mature, is in perfect balance with the rich spiciness of black pepper and licorice, and embellished with typical balsamic notes, of chocolate and tobacco. Excellent structure and volume in the mouth, characterized by well-present tannins, but soft and evolved, of great maturity. Fat and caressing in the finish, with very long persistence in the mouth.
