Vin de France Granite by Michel Guignier is an elegant and complex red wine made from Gamay grapes grown in the splendid vineyards near Michel's house, which are located in the Morgon appellation, characterized by soils of decomposed granite and friable shales defined at the regional level like "rotten rock".
