Quartz Blanc is a wine that comes from sauvignon blanc grapes that come from a vineyard planted on soils rich in sand and quartz. The grapes ferments in used barriques, where they are subsequently aged for 18 months. As soon as uncorked, the nose is shy with light notes of green apple. A little bit of oxygen is enough and it explodes with notes of brown sugar, cinnamon, celery, cucumber and a hint of nutmeg.
