AB INITIO was born from a friendship: that between Emmanuel Roblin and Fred and Claire Niger, owners of the Domaine de l'Ecu which is located near Nantes, in the heart of the Loire. Emmanuel starts working at the Domaine in 2015 accompanied by the ever-present idea of ​​one day being able to vinify one's own wine and owning one's own company; this becomes possible in August 2020 when Fred and Claire decide to help Emmanuel in the realization of his dream and found AB INITIO. Emmanuel therefore, vinifies in a space dedicated to him within the Domaine grapes from shops coming for the most part from the Rhone valley from organic and biodynamic farms and to which he is linked by a relationship of friendship and extreme trust. He vinifies his cuvées in steel, concrete and amphorae tanks with minimal intervention, giving life to wines of great style and personality, real and without tricks.
