The grapes from a small vineyard of 2 hectares at 400 m.s.l.m, with a yield of only 50 quintals per hectare, located on the hills of Pietrarossa near Calatafimi. The fermentation takes place spontaneously with the whole grapes not destemmed and the maceration is about a year on the skins. It is bottled by falling without filtration, nor clarification, nor by adding sulfites. Egesta has an intense golden color.
