Cellar: Cà Liptra
Ca'Liptra is a farm located in Cupromontana in the hills of Marche. The company is shared by 4 very heterogeneous partners but also very close, with different stories and experiences behind it. Their meeting dates back to 2008 for the first time and two years later the first experimental collaboration began. From 2012, this consolidated partnership will take the name of Ca'Liptra. Today, the total area of the farm is about 5 hectares divided between olive groves, vineyards and arable land. The vineyard of 2 hectares is divided into 5 particles with different altitudes, exposures and soils. Vineyards, almost peoples, have an average age of about 40 years. Due to their age it is very important to manage the vineyard to ensure the right balance between plant production and survival.Today, it is argued that Ca'Liptra has become a reference point for Verdicchio's production.
