Torre 67 was born in the heart of Salento, n Alezio, centered around an ancient 16th-century tower and a small Negroamaro vineyard overlooking the countryside, just a few kilometers from the Ionian Sea. The project stems from Matilde and Alessandro’s desire, following their time in Milan with MYJUICE, to return to the land and care for a place meant to be preserved rather than merely owned. It comprises one hectare of old vines, cultivated using dry-farming methods and with full respect for the soil’s natural balance, avoiding any forced interventions in either the vineyard or the cellar. Organic fertilization, cover crops, and microorganisms support a slow, meticulous process, while the grapes are hand-harvested and transformed into just 1,500 bottles a year. An authentic, artisanal Negroamaro deeply rooted in its territory: a wine that tells the story of the land, of time, and of the choice to care for it.
