Vin de France Blanc "Melon" by Domaine de la Cadette is a wine made from Melon grapes, a white grape variety originating in Burgundy that for many centuries has been snubbed in favor of more commercial and international varieties, such as pinot noir and the chardonnay. Domaine de la Cadette, with the aim of enhancing this indigenous grape variety, vinifies the melon grapes in purity, leaving the wine to mature in steel on the lees for five months.
