The Cal Cols company is located in Can Rossel de La Serra, in the upper Penedes, about 50 km from Barcelona. Soul and heart of this tiny reality are Ixabel and Lluis; the latter comes from a family generation of winemakers, we are now in the sixth, to be precise, who have always worked the land with great respect and passion. The vines have been certified organic for almost 30 years and "immerse" their roots in soils rich in limestone, stone and clay. The result is wines that are easy to drink, but at the same time complex and deep, a faithful representation of vintage, territory and variety. Production is very limited, the vinifications are accurate and careful, without the use of any substances permitted for oenological use. The result is small jewels, an authentic fruit of the awareness and experience that Lluis has acquired over the years. What to say? It was love at the first sip.
