From Stockholm where he was born, in 1990 Oscar Bissinger decides to move to Palermo, his father's hometown and where the spark of love for wine will then be triggered. In 2015 Oscar meets Francesco Guccione in Monreale with whom he begins a professional adventure that leads him to work alongside this great winemaker, gradually acquiring the winemaking skills that Francesco makes available to him. Very soon Oscar feels the growing desire to also produce its own wine. And at this point it is a second collaboration, with a colleague who grows Grecanico nearby, to trigger the spring. This trusted relationship of synergy, based on a certified organic viticulture, which regularly provides splendid grapes to Oscar, allows him to start making wine in the Guccione cellar a first 2018 vintage, which proves to be so encouraging as to stabilize the production of this Terre Siciliane. In the cellar, no oenological artifice: mechanical crushing and destemming, pneumatic pressing, spontaneous fermentation entrusted to indigenous yeasts, light maceration on the skins, spontaneous clarification during the long aging in steel.
