Producer Valentini

ABRUZZO

The Valentini farm is located in Loreto Aprutino in the province of Pescara, one of the 300 most beautiful villages in Italy. Family of Spanish origin, since 1600 and is the owner of the homonymous estate where, already in those days, wine, oil and wheat were produced. From generation to generation, the property at the beginning of the twentieth century arrives in the hands of Edoardo who begins to personally take care of the management of the cellar and the production of great wines. Today, it is led by Francesco Paolo, son of Edoardo, a character of great charisma, a true artisan of wine who follows the wisdom of Socrates: "I look and let Mother Nature take its course, everything already exists, you just have to make it emerge ". The company is spread over 65 hectares where in addition to vines, olive trees and wheat are grown. In the vineyard, where we find the typical grapes of Abruzzo; Trebbiano and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, weeding or treatments with systematic products are not carried out, using only sulfur and copper when needed. In the cellar, fermentation is carried out using the yeasts already present on the skin of the berries. Only 50,000 bottles are produced each year, divided between Trebbiano, Cerasuolo and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, which are immediately sold out. Valentini's wines are incredible and fully reflect the Abruzzo terroir.
