Podere La Castellaccia, is located on the hills of San Gimignano, a beautiful medieval town situated in the middle 'way between Florence and Siena. An ancient building surrounded by greenery which takes its name from a fort built in the ninth century, repeatedly destroyed and completely rebuilt at various times up to the current construction that includes a farmhouse and a barn. Today the company is run by Alessandro and Simona spouses in this pristine place have found the perfect place for the cultivation of the earth, not only lives but also cereals and screw. The totals are 54 hectares of which 8 are planted with vines organically respectful of nature, which rest on land mostly sand sizes and limestone with a climate ideal for lives. Alessandro believes in Vernaccia and proposes three versions: Vernaccia di San Gimignano refined steel, Vernaccia di San Gimignano vinified in contact with the skins for 36 hours and the Vernaccia di San Gimignano Riserva Murice obtained with a maceration on the skins of 10 days.
