It is produced with Côt grapes, as the malbec vine is called in the Loire Valley, which come from vines planted in the 1980s. Vinified with whole bunch carbonic maceration for 25 days in steel. The name of the wine is, surprise surprise, a play on words. "Hey! A Dernier Coup?" roughly translates to "Hey, one last drink?".
