Follia is the result of an idea by Matteo Ceracchi who wanted to create a wine made from white grapes, some of which are harvested late, in the first week of October, when they are overripe and moldy. The grapes are grown on volcanic soil mainly siliceous clay. Winemaking is spontaneous and refined in cement tanks. Follia is a large-bodied white with a golden yellow color. The nose perceives aromas of exotic fruit, honey, and herbaceous notes. On the palate it is round, enveloping, balanced with a nice tension and flavor. A very pleasant wine.
