Producer Clau de Nell

FRANCE, LOIRE

The Clau de Nell domaine is located in the Anjou appellation located in the north west of France in the southern Loire. It is here that Claude and Nell Pichard, young winemakers considered "rising stars" of French viticulture, cultivate Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Grolleau with love and skill. And if sometimes skill is not enough to guarantee the income necessary to pursue one's dreams, life often shows us how providential it can be in certain causes. When the financial situation no longer allows the two enfant prodiges to produce the wines, AnneClaude Leflaive intervenes, the owner of the famous Domaine Leflaive in Burgundy who, together with her husband Christian Jacques, bought the domaine in 2008, strictly following the principles of biodynamic. The company is entrusted to the vigneron Sylvain Potin, in the company since 2009 and with a past as a sommelier, but above all a faithful heir to the teachings of Anne-Claude Leflaive.
