Producer CHAVOST
FRANCE, VALLEE DE LA MARNE
The Chavost Cooperative was founded in 1946 by about twenty winegrowers from the village of Chavot-Courcourt south of Epernay, in the Vallèe de la Marne. Today the contributors are more than 100, on a vineyard area of over 70 hectares, all united by the same values of an independent viticulture, in fact, each farmer works his parcel in an artisanal way according to very strict internal regulations. A great commitment to sustainability and care for the environment is expressed with their new line of Champagne: sans sulfites ajoutés (without added sulphites). Chavost Champagnes are made from traditional grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, without addition of sulphites, without clarification, zero dosage. Chavost Champagnes are pure elegance in a glass!
