The one between Stefano Zoli and Matelica was love at first sight. Handyman from Romagna, illuminated on the road to Damascus by a bottle of Pergole Torte, Stefano at 28 enrolled in Viticulture and Oenology at the University of Bologna and at the same time began working in Romagna with Sangiovese. He meets Aroldo Bellelli, an esteemed agronomist and oenologist from the Marche region with a strong whitish sensitivity and thanks to him he discovers Matelica. From such a special terroir for Verdicchio comes the desire to make a dream come true, starting from a small and old vineyard with a very high potential.
