Producer Bragagni

Andrea Bragagni's farm is located in the area upstream of the ancient medieval village of Brisighella, in the hamlet of Fognano. Andrea lives with simplicity in contact with nature in the company of his wife Valeria who has been following him since 1998 in the rediscovery of those autochthonous varieties, the most authentic heritage of Romagna, which he elaborates with intelligent peasant wisdom The company covers an area of 25 hectares , but there are only 3 hectares of vines with rows stretched out in an uncontaminated valley surrounded by woods at 350 meters. of altitude. The vineyards are located on a mostly sandy matrix substrate on which there is a fragile and sedimentary limestone rock called "Galestro. In the vineyard and in the cellar the production philosophy is the same: to produce with the minimum intervention and with the least possible stress, enhancing the vintage and the territory, so that the wines that are born there are the result of the patient work done in the vineyard throughout the year, of a selected production with a yield of 40-50 quintals per hectare, of the choice to privilege the quality of the product, respecting the typicality of the grapes and the territory.
