The Azienda Agricola Spagnoli is located in Masignano di Arcola, in the province of La Spezia, among the beautiful hills of eastern Liguria. The company was founded around the 1950s by Celeste Spagnoli, when she reconstituted old ruined terraces. In the seventies, the baton passed to Andrea Spagnoli, who is now the guide with the help of his daughter Ilenia, born and raised among the family vineyards. Andrea immediately started producing high quality wines, concentrating on working in the vineyard, renewing and consolidating the management of the vineyard and the cellar in favor of low yields and attention to every detail. The vineyards extend over about 2 hectares of land, and we can find plants of vermentino, albarola, trebbiano, malvasia, merlot, sangiovese and other red grapes such as ciliegiolo and canaiolo, they remind us how close we are to Tuscany. Another boost towards excellence was given by Ilenia, who after graduating in enology and viticulture in Pisa, began producing innovative wines such as "Pan", a light and delicate white obtained from Vermentino, Albarola and Trebbiano, and the Extreme, a macerated white, in an orange wine style. Ilenia wines are linked to the territory and to the rural tradition.
