Cascina Fontana is a family-run winery located in Perno, a small fraction of Monforte d'Alba, in Piedmont, in the prestigious and renowned area of the Langhe and Barolo. Cascina Fontana, today arrived at the sixth generation of winemakers with Mario who together with Luisa produces the classic wines of the territory with a traditional viticulture, slow and respectful, according to the teachings of his grandfather, favoring the aspect linked to the territory and to the rural tradition. The company is spread over 6 hectares of vineyards cultivated with Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto, which are found in the most suitable areas of the area, including Castiglione Falletto and La Morra, cultivated with Nebbiolo grapes for the production of Barolo, in the Mariondino and Villero and Sinio, municipality where Cascina Fontana raises dolcetto, barbera and nebbiolo grapes for the production of Langhe Nebbiolo DOC. Manual harvests and in the cellar spontaneous fermentations and refining in steel for the Dolcetto, and in wood for Barbera and Barolo. The last born is the Cascina Fontana Red Wine, based on red grapes processed and vinified with natural methods, labeled "Triple A". Cascina Fontana produces its wines in a traditional way, respecting and following the culture, traditions and history of the Langhe.
