Domaine Achillée is above all a passionate team that welcomes curious visitors, sommeliers or neophytes with family or friends, for a wine tasting, a visit to the cellar or simply to spend a relaxing moment among the vineyards, the vats and a breathtaking view. The Domaine is located in the municipality of Scherwiller, in Alsace, surrounded by castles and traditional buildings made of straw. The company was founded by Yves Dietrich, who has cultivated the organic vineyards since 1999 and in 2003 moved to biodynamic. 18 hectares of vineyards cultivated with the typical Alsatian grapes like Riesling, Pinot Grigio, found on stony soils, characterized by the presence of schist and granite, ideal for obtaining white wines of great elegance, longevity and concentration of taste-olfactory scents . Today the winery is led by his sons Jean and Pierre who have managed to give him a new impulse, helped and supported by an equally young and dynamic work team. The company production, carried out strictly according to the principles and dictates of biodynamics, includes Alsace AOC wines, Grands Crus AOC (Frankestein), Crémant d'Alsace sparkling wines and also Sélection Grains Nobles and Late Vintages. Some of these products have also acquired the international brand Demeter, a guarantee of biodynamic production.
