EMILIA ROMAGNA

The Crocizia winery is a small winery located in Pastorello, on the Parma hills at 500 meters above sea level. The company was founded in the early 2000s by the will of Marco, Sara and Aurelio Rizzardi, when they decided to recover an old farmhouse and cultivate the classic vines of the Parma tradition; Malvasia di Candia for white wines and Barbera, Lambrusco Maestri, Pinot Nero and Croatina for reds. The vineyards, which are found on calcareous soils with outcropping marne, are cultivated in rigorous biological regime, we do not use chemical products but only copper and sulfur, in order to have healthy and genuine grapes. The same philosophy is followed in the cellar: no additives, fining agents, and stabilizers are used, but spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeast yeasts, steel refining and no filtration before bottling. All wines, apart from the Pasènsja, are sparkling, and they prove to be frank, lively, fresh, fun, with a tasty profile.
